Cooking in Sicily 
Siclian cooking classThe culinary schools program includes:
7 Nights with full board, beverages included. 
- 4 Cooking Lessons with Chef Paolo Monti and Chef Peppe Buffa - followed by lunch, all breakfasts and dinners (including wine), admission to all tours and events, wine-tastings at local wineries, and all group transportation during the tour. 

A delicious and entertaining cooking tour of Sicily’s wine country, with interludes in the Greek temple of Segesta with visits to the traditional and newer wineries and taste the new wines that are tomorrow's "Super Tuscans" or "Super Sicilians". Lead by chef Paolo Monti, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the exciting flavours and sights of this colorfula dish from the sicilian cooking classes. italian region, with its wonderful hospitality and traditions, it pastry, the spices with a hint of ancient arabian spices... 
- The trip begins at the airport in Palermo where we will pick you up and transfer to Palermo for two nights where we will visit the Capo Market, in particular the fish market to learn to chose fresh fish. 
Palermo is an important ancient capital city of the Mediterranean sea, we will visit many of the famous churches and monuments. the third day we will transfer the lovely seaside village of San Vito Lo Capo and on the way we will visit the Greek temple site of Segesta. 
After check in at Hotel Capo San Vito we will start the first cooking lesson.
With Chef Peppe Buffa we will learn many Sicilian recipes and explore the delicacies of Sicilian cooking  during 4 lessons.
- An exciting trip to Marsala’s ancient cellars and the more modern wineries between Marsala and 
Palermo - Sicily is one of Italy’s fastest growing wine areas - where young, keen winemakers, with modern techniques are improving the traditional grape  varieties and have added new ones, to produce Sicily’s excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir, as well as local grape varieties like Nero D'Avola, Grillo, Ansonica, Bianco D’Alcamo etc.
- We will also visit the ancient Hill Town of Erice, an important Greek and Pre-Greek settlement that 
controlled the whole area of Trapani and Marsala. It is famous for its ceramics and marzipan pastries. 

-We will finish with a cooking class with Chef Paolo Monti’s and a sumptuous farewell dinner with folk music by Sicilian artists. Sicilian live music after the sicilian cooking class

Program
Day 1 Sunday  “Welcome to Sicily”
- Pick up at Punta Raisi international Airport in Palermo and Transfer by minibus to the hotel in Palermo
- 8.00 pm  apertifs and Welcome Dinner 
Day 2 Monday “welcome to Palermo” 
- 8.30 am Excursion in Palermo and Monreale,  visit this beautiful Mediterranean town with its typical street market “Capo” with its colourful shops, stall, fish vendors and fried food sellers. 
We will visit also Palermo’s most important churches and monuments. Free Afternoon 
- 8.00 pm Dinner in Palermo

 Day 3 Tuesday Greek Temples 
8,30 am Departure to visit the temple area of Segesta then continue on to San Vito Lo Capo. Check into Hotel Capo San Vito 
3 pm  start with the 1st cooking lesson with Chef Peppe Buffa and introduction to Italian and Sicilian Cooking followed by dinner 
 Day 4 Wednesday
“Fish in Sicilian Cooking”
--8.00 am  excursion by minibus to Trapani  to see the fish market and learn how to select fresh fish and the lively, typical southern Mediterranean noisy and colourful exchanges between buyers and seller (we will translate the less rude remarks!) 
10.00 am Return for - 2nd cooking lesson with sicilian fish specialties

Day 5 Thursday 
“The great Sicilian wines!”
- 9.00 am   - departure by minibus to visit some of the best Sicilian wine makers, Florio, Rallo, Duca di Salaparuta, wine tasting in all of them. 
Lunch at Donnafugata Winery 
After lunch we drive by the salt flats in Trapani and stop for a visit in the salt Muse um 
- 5.00 pm Return to San Vito Lo Capo and light dinner in  the hotel 
.Day 6 Friday"Sicilian Pastry”
- 10.00 am 2.00 pm Sicilian cooking and Sicilian pastry lesson: cannoli, cassata and the typical marzipan fruits among other things.
- 2.30 pm Afternoon excursion to  the ancient hill town of Erice.
- 7.30 Wine tasting and dinner  in a "Baglio" with local specialties

 Day 7 Saturday "Cooking with Chef Paolo Monti"
-10.00 am to 2.00 pm Italian and Sicilian dishes with Chef Paolo Monti 
- Free afternoon
- 8.00 pm Farewell Dinner  at Chef Peppe Buffa’s Restaurant with live Sicilian music and the entertaining “Cantastorie”:  typical Sicilian storytellers in traditional costume that sing in dialect a story of a saint or a local hero.
Day 8 Sunday
 Departure by minibus to Palermo Airport.
